Hi, I'm Fran.

I’m a cinematographer from Galicia (northern Spain). My

journey with photography began at 17 years old, during a backpacking trip across Morocco. That was the first time I understood how powerful it is to frame a moment, how an image can hold a feeling. Since then, I’ve been chasing that same sensation, the invisible connection between light, story and emotion.

After studying cinematography in the Canary Islands, I started working with the renowned cinematographer Pablo G. Gallego, the person who gave me my first real opportunities as a commercial cinematographer.

What I love most about commercials is that they give me the chance to craft images with an extraordinary level of care and intention. There’s something incredibly exciting about spending days, sometimes weeks, designing a single shot.
Even if the result lasts only a few seconds on screen, there’s something deeply rewarding about putting so much care into something you can’t touch… but can feel.
